Buffyvol, who plays the flute, misses her big hair, and was actually born north of the Mason-Dixon line. She's also the inspiration behind the yet-to-be-developed TV show, "Good Ideas Gone Bad".
Name: Beth, short of Elizabeth.
Age: Really now? Who asks that kind of question? Ok, 36
Location: Outside Chattanooga.
Where were you born? The tiniest town in West Virginia.
What did you want to be when you grew up? A Special Ed Teacher.
So, what do you do now? Right now, I'm a stay home mom. I am also the "official dog poop picker upper".
What were mealtimes like for you as a child? We pretty much all sat at the table for dinner, but Breakfast and Lunch was catch as catch can.
What is dinnertime like for your family now? I've heard you fix some mean Couch Spaghetti. Hee, yeah. When MrV is out of town, the boys and I just have what ever for dinner, but when he's home, I fix a big meal and we sit down for about 5 minutes, then grab our plates and run to the tv.
How did you and Mr. V meet? I had just started a new job and his Dad started asking me if I had been here or there since I moved to GA. Needless to say, I thought HE was going to ask me out. *squick* I was pleasantly surprised, and relieved, when MrV asked instead. We went on 2 dates and decided we belonged together. The rest, as they say, is history. We just celebrated our 14th Anniversary.
[PeeWee Herman voice] I love that story!
Did you ever like any of your school photos? My sixth grade picture was all right. I had all my teeth by then.
Do you still have your teeth? If I didn't live in TN, I'd be offended by that question. But, yeah, I have all but a couple wisdom teeth.
What was your first date like? It was in 3rd grade with Steve D. We went roller skating. He went on to marry a girl I hated for most of my life.
What is in your vegetable bin? A head of lettuce.
What color is your car? The title says blue, but it's Purple baby!
Are you having a good hair day? Not since 1986! Frankie says, "Tease that hair!" Actually, I cut it all off when I got pregnant with Major and haven't had a good hair day since.
Speaking of your boys, what are Heath and Major up to these days?
Heath has decided to take up the drums. He wants a set for christmas. Major is still taking TKD and has also joined the school wrestling team. Right now he is practicing "Highway to Heck" on my guitar while Heath beats the snot out of my kitchen table with chop sticks. I guess I'll have to sing because Heath refuses to say Hell and Highway to Heck just doesn't roll off the tongue.
What is your favorite perfume? Musks and Bath and Body Works Ylang/Ylang Myrrh Aromatherapy.
What is your middle name? Ellen.
What type of books do you like to read? Horror. Stephen King and Anne Rice are my favorite.
I know you're a fan of The Sopranos and Big Brother. What else do you watch? I have recently discovered the joys of "Survivor" and "TAR" (DAMN YOU PEOPLE! All you guys on HT killed my "Reality Show High Horse"!), and I enjoy a sitcom once in awhile. I also try to catch CSI: Miami.(I know, I'm the only person in the world that watches it).
What is your favorite type of cookie? I'm not much of a sweet eater, but I do like the occasional Chocolate chip cookie.
Who would you like to see featured on the next Spotlight? Let's go with Shitclown because that name makes me laugh and laugh.
Thanks just for being you, Buff. You are truly one-of-a-kind.

Just wanted to welcome the visitors that are
coming here from Hamstertime today.
My sweetie linked to this site from the
live feed thread, and I've had about 170
visitors already today. [Waves]
Please feel free to look around, (and leave
a comment!). Don't forget to check out
all of the Spotlight interviews by clicking
the link on the left.
This should give some of the Big Brother
fans something to this evening, since the
show doesn't air tonight. Hang in there
peeps~ Tuesday is just around the corner.

I hate Blogger with the firey passion of a thousand suns.
Now, I have a Blogger/Blogspot blog of my own. One
that I haven't done much work on, but sometimes need
to access. However, I cannot access my Blogger account
using my AOL browser. I have to fire up Mozilla in order
to log in. This is why I never leave comments for my
friends, unless I do so "anonymously". This, of course,
is after hitting THREE links to get me to the comment
page. Then, if my comment isn't eaten by Blogger, it
gets double-posted. And lately, it seems to have
This week, I have been unable to leave comments
nearly half the time I visit these blogs. I also spent
over an hour yesterday making a simple entry into
my second blog, because Blogger was being testy.
Most of you who know me fairly well, should know
that I'm not a complainer. I'm very easy-going and
it takes a lot to set me off, but Blogger has pushed
me nearly to the breaking point.
Has anyone else been having these issues, or is
it just a personal vendetta against me?
For my blog buddies who use Blogger/Blogspot,
please don't think I'm criticizing you or your
choice of blog service, (at least no
more than you criticize me for using AOL ;)
I wasn't able to leave comments for many of
you this week, so for that, I apologize. I still
read your blogs faithfully, but lately, have done
so through clenched teeth, due to the frustration
I've experienced in dealing with the evil that is
There. I feel mildly better. I think I need to go
channel this negative energy into hamster-bashing.
